Designed specifically for use on the USCG 87 ft. Protector-Class and the old 82 ft. Point-Class Cutters. The Barracuda differs in design from the 98Y Series by its dimensions and the materials used. This model has an outer layer of black colored marine-grade polyester and an inner layer of our heavy-grade black nylon. The Barracuda model is designed to withstand hurricane-force strain on the lines.
The Wooly® was manufactured to prevent fender and dock lines from scuffing paint or gel coat finishes on yachts. As with all Chafe-Pro® products, the Wooly® is de- signed to withstand the harshest of marine environments, as they are made from the highest quality New Zealand sheepskins.
