A rubber flap, inhibits the reverse flow of water into the exhaust. The fitting is made from high pressure compression molded FRP, rubber and stainless steel and is resistant to the corrosive sea water environment. Flap Repair Kit consists of a rubber flapper, stainless steel plate and 2 stainless steel screws.

Manufactured of investment cast 316 stainless steel for ultimate corrosion resistance and strength, with a 60 durometer nitrile rubber flap to prevent backwash. They have a full thread length to insure fit in any wall thickness. The design allows easy installation in boat hulls of varying thicknesses, from 3/8” to 2-1/4”, as used in inboard/outboard transoms or sides of hull. Fasteners are high-grade stainless steel and fully serviceable from outside the vessel. Complete with flapper.
