Racor Marine Diesel Filter/Separators
Racor Fuel Filter/Water Separators for marine use have passed rugged fire and thermal shock tests and Racor offers Marine U.L.-Listed and U.S. Coast Guard-Accepted Filter/Separator with a see-through clear bowl and metal heat deflector. Racor Fuel Filter/Water Separators clean fuel completely, thoroughly, reliably. See-through bowl MA/MAX/MAV units are approved for Diesel service only. UL-Listed, USCG-Accepted. All units must be installed on the suction (vacuum) side of the fuel or transfer pump; however, a maximum head pressure of 15 PSI, is permissible. Color: White

The lower the micron rating, the finer the filtration. Thirty-micron (PM Red) is recommended when the Turbine Series will function as water separator and primary filter. The ten-micron (TM Blue) can be used for primary or secondary/final filtration depending on the engine and/or the application. The two-micron element (SM Brown) is secondary/final filtration. These elements feature a “key" in the bottom cap to open the new fuel shut-off valve. Another feature is the Emergency Bypass Tab which allows you (in an emergency situation) to puncture the bypass tube and keep the engine running if servicing a clogged cartridge is not an option. Each element INCLUDES a full set of gas- kets. Case quantities: 12.
